About Tristyn
Tristyn is honored to care for clients navigating the complexities and challenges of life.
She completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her master’s degree in educational psychology from the University of Texas at Austin (Hook ‘Em!). She is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas and worked as a counselor for three years at the Austin Stone Counseling Center before beginning her own practice.
Tristyn’s faith is central to her counseling approach, rooted in the belief that true hope is found in the finished work of Jesus Christ. She is passionate about helping individuals make sense of what the death and resurrection of Christ mean for the intricacies of life while we wait for his return.
Tristyn has experience working with eating disorders, body image concerns, anxiety, depression, perinatal loss, marriage issues, parenting, career issues and life transitions.
In her free time, Tristyn loves reading, running, listening to podcasts, tending to her many houseplants and drinking coffee. She met her husband while they were both undergraduates at the University of Texas at Austin and they have two amazing kids.
